Designer discovery Happy Patty Crochet
Whenever I discover a designer that really made me go “wow!”

This week I stumbled upon the website Happy Patty Crochet.  And I have to admit… I was blown away with the beautiful designs I saw!

Happy Patty Crochet sells crochet patterns for flowers.  But her designs are just so breathtakingly beautiful, that you just don’t know what you’re looking at if you go to her site for the first time.

What I really like is the option to buy a bundle to make a whole bouquet of flowers.  Yes, I know… it might be a little bit more expensive than a real bouquet, but hey… you can keep it for life!  While a real bouquet only last for an average of 2 weeks, this bouquet last forever.  Maybe a lovely idea to buy as a gift for yourself?  If you start now, you might end up with a beautiful bouquet of flowers on mothers day!

I bought the pattern of the Gerbera Daisy, the rose applique en for the rose bouquet.

The patterns come with a clear written instruction.  To obtain the lovely look, designer Patty has come up with a fun variation on the Tunisian Simple Stitch.

The pattern states that it has a difficulty level for the intermediate crocheter.  So, if your more a beginner level, it might be a bit of a challenge in the beginning, but if you’re all for challenges, I’d say go for it!

The yarn itself is also a bit more difficult to find. She used crochet thread no.20 and no.40.  lovecrochet.com has a lovely selection of this type of yarn in a variety of lovely colors.  For example Anchor en DMC have some really beautiful colors in their selection.

I am absolutely fan of her patterns.  I already ordered my yarn and hope to start my bouquet soon!

Creative greetings,
Wendy
